First of all, thank you for visiting my web page.
My name is Timothy Lauderdale, I have been building and repairing computers since the days of dial up. I have been working with windows based systems, and have started to work with some linux and unix based systems, including playing around with Android. I am known in my family as "the tech guy"; everyone comes to me with their problems. I work from my home, since I hold a "regular job". My hobbies with computers include security technology, hidden things in Windows, ways to "tweak" the system, improving performance, speed, quality, and size. I also build, design, and install audio systems for the home, as well as your car/truck/suv. I have done electrical work in cars, as well as homes and also RV's. I am mechanically and electronically inclined, always wanting to learn and get experience with new stuff. My prior work experience includes 4 years installing cellular phone systems in vehicles, and maintenance and repair of cell phones, cell phone kits, as well as removing phone kits. I was also an electrician for an RV company, and I've also had various skilled jobs in the past. I have always had a professional attitude and taken pride in my work. I believe my prices are fair and honest, and I believe in making the customer happy. If you want to build your own computer, but don't know where to start, I can do everything from basic designs (a spreadsheet of parts/prices/websites) to completely designing, building, and even installing your computer. If you have a virus/trojan/worm/malware that needs to be removed, I can fix that too. Even a detail cleaning of your game controllers is available. Most recently, I began exploring the uses, tips and tricks with Android mobile phones, and media players.
I hold a lifetime certification for CompTIA A+ (hardware computer repair) as of Dec of 2010.
While in Iraq, I knew it was important for fellow service members, and civilian contractors to utilize someone they can trust. I personally wanted to make sure that their information, personal photos, and identity was completely safe, and not in the hands of unknown people (including local nationals that had their own "repair shops"). I kept my prices just as low as when I was in the US; no reason to increase prices because of my location!
